Who Is Economist Jeffrey Sachs & Why Does He Kowtow to China & Other Regimes

Sachs is known as “China’s Apologist in Chief.”

The Lancet published a major COVID-19 Commission report Wednesday that concluded the deadly pathogen might possibly have leaked from a United States laboratory. It noted the National Institutes of Health has “resisted disclosing details” of its research on SARS-CoV-related viruses. The commission’s chairman is economist Jeffrey Sachs

Russia Today reported Sachs spoke at a conference in Spain in June. “I chaired a commission for the lancet for two years on Covid. I’m pretty convinced it came out of US lab biotechnology.”

When questioned by Newsweek in July, Sachs said, “My personal best guess is that SARS-CoV-2 was thereby created and that it accidentally escaped from a laboratory, perhaps the Wuhan Institute of Virology, or perhaps elsewhere.”

Sachs holds an advisory role at Beijing’s Tsinghua University. The position promotes China’s foreign policy goals within the U.N. He routinely takes China’s line on a number of issues, including COVID’s origins, China’s role in the world, and the Uyghur genocide.

Psychiatrist Dr. Aaron Kheriaty, a professor at the University of California-Irvine School of Medicine, was fired in December 2021, because he refused to be vaccinated against COVID, claiming natural immunity after COVID infection. “Once I challenged one of their policies I immediately became a ‘threat’ to the health and safety of the community,” he reported in a blog post.

Kheriaty has joined a lawsuit with Jay Bhattacharya, Professor of Medicine at Stanford University, Nobel Prize winner Martin Kulldorff, former professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, and the attorney generals of the states of Missouri and Louisiana – Missouri v. Biden – claiming more than 50 federal officials across at least 11 federal agencies secretly coordinated with social media companies to censor private speech about COVID.
